Car Servicing and Repairs

We offer all general vehicle servicing according to the manufacturers' service schedules. We use only top quality parts and materials, which carry a full warranty, so giving you peace of mind. If defects are found whilst your car is being serviced then we will contact you or issue a report to gain approval for the work at a later date. This is so you are kept fully informed of the costs to you at all times.

We also use the vast range of Forte products including an Advanced Formula Fuel Cleaner & Motor Engine Flush on every service to rinse the engine of any contaminated oil. As we say, "You don’t put clean oil in a dirty engine. "

Manufacturer Warranty

We are able to service your vehicle without compromising the manufacturer's mechanical warranty from new. This is achieved by servicing your vehicle under the recommended manufacturer's service schedules and using only original equipment parts. Our suppliers guarantee that their parts are either original equipment or of matching quality and which therefore satisfy the Block Exception Regulations. Some matching quality parts are actually better than the original equipment fitted by the vehicle manufacturer and improve your car's performance.

With the help of our comprehensive computer database system MOT reminders are issued to help you ensure that your car gains its new test certificate in good time.

Diagnostics

Nearly all cars produced from 1991 onwards had some form of vehicle management system fitted to control engine, braking and airbag functions amongst others. This has now moved on to control almost all of the vehicle's systems including climate control, headlights, windscreen wipers and even to check progressive oil quality. These various systems are highly beneficial but correct diagnosis requires the use of specialised equipment. We are very proud to announce that we use the latest technology from “Snap On” to give us greatly extended diagnostic capabilities. The Snap-On Verus is an amazing tablet PC which is able to communicate directly with the car's own electronic management system to reveal a wealth of information about the vehicle and its condition. This device allows us to identify problems easily and quickly, which can also sometimes reveal faults even before the driver is aware of them!

Cam Belt & Cam Chain Replacement Service

With most of today's engines using toothed camshaft drive belts as opposed to the heavier metal chain alternative, regular replacement of these belts must be kept in accordance to the manufacturer's time or mileage intervals to avoid excessive engine damage if they fail. We offer a full replacement service using only genuine manufacturer's cambelts with the history kept on our comprehensive computer database for extra piece of mind. Cam chains can also over time wear with excessive noise. We are fully able to replace these timing chains should this occur.

Clutch & Dual Mass Flywheel Replacement Service

We offer a full clutch and flywheel replacement service for all vehicles using clutches from Luk who also make and supply a vast amount of clutches for most leading car manufacturers, as original fitment from new.

Air Conditioning

We are fully authorised to recharge air conditioning systems complying with the Annex to Commission Regulation EC307/2008 IMIAL Level 3 Handling in Automotive Refrigerant Qualification 4th July 2010. We can also remove any nasty smells which can build up inside the car. Such smells are caused by a build-up of harmful bacteria on the evaporator which can become a breeding ground causing sickness and flu-like symptoms. We can carry out a "Fresh and Clean" service to remove the bacteria in the ventilation system and vehicle interior which will remove the nasty odours. This service is guaranteed for six months. We recommend a full air conditioning service at least every 3 years or 36,000 miles.
